Abusive posts.

If you're on my friends list you've probably seen my Fiancee's post about some 'anonymous user' who's been posting less than complimentary things about her.

These comments include the likes of:

'Dont do it man! Skanks is a chipmonk faced, jelly bellied, wannabe goffick innit? Don't be daft & get out while you can! This is a warning call to all men, it is written that the fat, alcoholic, chubby cheeked mess will mess with your head!'

And this:

'You poor, deluded, downtrodden fool :( I pity you.

And this little nutshell, which pretty much gives the game away:

Your ex-bird was well tidy! I hope you realise how big a fool you were to lose her! Thats what you get for playing ps2 all day, you stupid bastard.
Skanks? What are you thinking man? *batters head off table*

To you, whomever you are: How DARE you use MY journal to fire insults at her. If you are who I think you are (and trust me, I got it narrowed down VERY quickly), it's not big or clever and will ultimately end up reducing your already dimishing pool of friends further. No matter how abusive or clever you think you are being, it's only showing you up to be an idiot. Please, grow the fuck up.

By the way, you may have noticed that this post is unlocked. So go on... I dare you. Post away.

Normally I wake up on Fridays feeling invigorated and excited about the coming weekend. The emphasis in that last sentance is on 'normally'.

Apparently I was really restless last night and kept my poor [info]ishkhara awake by rolling around and jabbing her with my elbows.

I'm sorry, babe!! :o(

Many squishes and stuff are coming your way this evening!

Gah. I knew I'd find today to be particularly hard.

It's my little boy's fourth birthday, and this is the very first birthday of his that I've never been beside him as he rips his pressies open.

So, if you can see this, happy birthday, [info]babyklawz!!

It seems that b3ta's latest image challenge about everyone's most hated favourite diminutive pop/rock star has got them in a little bit of trouble, lol!

For those of you that are unfamiliar with the website in question, clicky and enjoy it's silliness.

To sell or not to sell...

Betty is acting up yet AGAIN. Got out to her last night and it had turned out that her battery was completely dead. Okay - I digress that I accidentally left her headlights on the other night, but after a jumpstart the battery should have recovered by now... Right?

Wrong.

I popped into the garage after a lovely person gave me another jump start, only to find that her alternator (the part that basically runs the entire electrical system on the car and charges the battery) is only charging at 9v when it should be charging at 14-15v. It's going to cost me £150 to get it replaced and fitted. Lovely. Just fucking lovely.

What would you guys do? Get rid of her or get her fixed?

What a weekend. After leaving at 7AM on Saturday morning I spenmt 16 hours behind Betty's wheel, two hours of which were spent sitting stationary because of this. There were thankfully no fatalities but it did result in us missing Jem & Owen's wedding ceremony and meal, which rather pissed [info]ishkhara and I off.

We fortunately made it for the reception with little drama once we were in Hatton and had a lovely time even though we were completely knackered. It was great to see the groom getting completely embarrassed in front of everyone and the blushing bride looking absolutely lovely! :o)

The guest house we stayed in was brilliant - really friendly and welcoming, even though the bed was overly squishy and the pillows were like granite! I think we'll probably return there so we can explore the area better as it looked lovely.

The drive back was ironically free of delays, we eat at KFC (naughty but very yummy) and arrived back home for about four o'clock feeling more awake than we expected. I'm now once again like the living dead at work though, feeling rahter unwell and am having to work until 8PM, boo!

No notes...?!

Well, I never got a response from 'Marker Pen Man' last night or this morning, which is slightly disappointing.

Maybe he knows I'm right. [info]ishkhara sent a nice letter to the council notifying them of our lovely neighbour's line painting / space reserving twattery, so hopefully we'll get an equally nice response from them and we can give that fucker a double whammy of 'nya nya' notices.

I went out to my car yesterday to find that some idiot had left a note under Betty's windscreen wiper which read more or less like this:

'Do not park your car outside numer 25, as the spaces outside our flat are reserved. If you cannot park your car outside your own stair, there are spaces to the rear of the building for you to use instead of parking it in my space.'

Enraged, I wrote the following response and stuck it on the wall inside the stair of no.25 this morning:

'To the writer of the message overleaf:

All of the parking spaces outside numbers 25, 27 and 29 are PUBLIC spaces. This means that, unless you are disabled or have been given express permission by the council to reserve spaces, I have every right to park my car inany space I wish!! You, however, have no right to dictate to me where I can and cannot park my car and you have ABSOLUTELY no right to post messages on my car.

Would you park your car around the back?
...Didn't think so.

We all live in the area and all have to abide to the same rules and regulations, so please be considerate.'

Waiting for the response...

I am feeling appropriately Halloween-y at the moment. That is, I feel like a Zombie.

*gurgle, moan, lurch*

Arrived back from the immensely excellent Whitby Gothic Weekend yesterday and am straight back into work today. I'm feeling like I could have done with a couple of more days off, but meh - there's not much that can be done about that. This was first time at Whitby so I wasn't entirely sure what to expect, but thankfully my gorgeous [info]ishkhara guided me through things and introduced me to some absolutely lovely people.

I'm too knackered to do a proper update right now, so I'll try to get around to doing one later!

Meh... Tired. Spent the first part of my bedtime last night listening to the neighbours upstairs having a blazing argument with each other, Freya scritching shit about in her litter tray, so it taken me ages to fall asleep. Having a restless brain wasn't helping much either. Now feeling irritable and oddly extremely hungry!! Lunch in 15 mins though.

Teh weekend was good, if rather short, as I was working 9-5 in here on Saturday. We did go out on Saturday evening to the cinema to see two movies:

Black Sheep - Which was quite simply one of the most hilariously absurd pieces of cinematic excellence I've seen in a long time! Psychotic farting sheep, oh yes! If you're a fan of Peter Jackson and Sam Raimi's early work, you will love it to bits.

Resident Evil: Extinction - Much like the first two, it features Milla Jojojojovivivivch kicking zombie arse whilst being in various states of undress. Like the zombies, the movie drags it's feet for the first part, before lurching inbetween mildly distracting and entertaining for the last part. Worth watching alone for the effects and impressive photoshopping of Milla's face.

The entirety of Sunday was spent being lazy, watching the Princess Bride and playing oblivion. Downloaded Half-Life 2: Episode 2 too... Can't wait to play it tonight!

Worky shifts and Oblivion

Just had a team meeting today in work at it looks like they're finally going to consider giving us a better shift pattern since we're up to a full compliment of staff. I'm hoping for two or three weeks of 9-5pm's and one week of 12-8pm's. That would be cool because working alternate weeks of earlies and lates is starting to royally mess with my body clock. I'm working 9-5 tomorrow as well to make up some holiday days so I can go to Whitby. No rest for the wicked, huh? But still... More cash.

In other news, was playing Oblivion last night when my system started displaying the dreaded BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death) every time I tried to load my save game, leading me to completely reinstall the game. After reinstalling, I was still having the same problem. Bugger. So I tried installing an earlier save and it worked fine. Why oh why didn't I try that in the first place?!

Now cured myself and the Count of Anvil's wife from vampirism. Woohoo!

Woohoo!

It looks like Sony have finally seen some sense and, starting tomorrow, are dropping the price of the PS3 by £125!

It's losing a couple of USB ports and has a smaller hard drive, but who really cares?
